Considered as a giant because of his "huge" height, recognized as one of the tallest men in the world, but his life had many misfortunes.

Mr. Zhang Juncai, now 54 years old, living in Shanxi Province, China, is recognized as one of the tallest men in China and the world. Mr. Juncai is at least 2.42m tall, 13 cm taller than the famous basketball star Yao Ming. However, Mr. Juncai did not have a life as famous and successful as Yao Ming.

Mr. Zhang Juncai was born on March 31, 1966 into a very ordinary family. The strange thing is that both Mr. Juncai's father and mother are the same height as ordinary people. At the time of birth, Mr. Juncai was like many other children, but by the age of 16, his height began to skyrocket. At 22 years old, he was 2.12m tall. 

Because he lived in the countryside, he did not have much knowledge, so Juncai's parents absolutely did not think that the child's height was abnormal, but they were proud. When Mr. Juncai complains to his parents about frequent headaches, they will give him 2 painkillers. 

In 1988, a soldier passing through Juncai's hometown heard rumors about a man over 2 meters tall. This soldier was a propaganda officer of the army and, out of curiosity, came to take pictures. Since then, the image of Mr. Juncai appeared in many newspapers. Not long after, Mr. Juncai was recognized by the Guinness World Records as "the tallest man in Asia" with a height of 2.37m.

Despite its remarkable height, in fact, it does not bring Mr. Juncai many benefits, but only difficulties. From the age of 16, Mr. Juncai was worried about dressing because he could not buy clothes suitable for height. Due to his poor family, Mr. Juncai often had to wear a set of clothes for several years but in fact, only a few months the clothes were short. He also couldn't find shoes that fit his feet, and eventually both clothes and shoes had to be made by himself.

Coming from a farming family, Mr. Juncai is also attached to farming, but since his height grows "huge", he cannot do this job, because just bent down will lose his balance. In the end, he had to do some chores at home to help out his parents. In addition, Mr. Juncai is also subject to discrimination from those around him when he goes out. He was ridiculed by his friends as a fool, and some even said he was mentally ill.

By the age of 33, Mr. Juncai was 2.42m tall. At that time, he showed many abnormal health signs, so he had to go to the hospital for examination. The doctor! said he had a 3 mm long pituitary tumor in the brain. It is this tumor that causes him to have a "huge" height and headaches for many years. In 1999, Mr. Juncai underwent surgery to remove the tumor and was lucky to be successful.

Also in 1999, Mr. Juncai met Ms. He Xinjing through a pairing program on television. Without discriminating against the giant man, Ms. Xinjing agreed to date, then married Mr. Juncai. Mrs. Xinjing is 1.65m tall, only the size of her husband's feet, but the couple still live a peaceful and happy life.

During the process of living, Ms. Xinjing said that the couple had many difficulties due to the difference in height. In particular, Mr. Juncai's life was affected a lot when everything around was not the same size as his world. Due to the illness that Mr. Juncai contracted, the couple have not been able to have children despite living together for 21 years

Ms. Xinjing said that she had been strongly opposed by her family when she wanted to marry Mr. Juncai, but she has never regretted it. Ms. Xinjing never lets her husband do housework and does not pressure her to have children.

 Ms. Xinjing shared: "We love each other and are very happy. But having a normal life is not easy when reluctant to become the focus of attention! ".
